Since 2002, Redbrick has provided strategic communications counsel and training related services to a broad range of public and private sector clients. Our portfolio includes work for prominent companies, law firms, governments, associations, universities and not-for-profit agencies.

Collectively, we bring to the table not only communications expertise but experience from inside government, media, and industry. As a result, we know how to reach media, key opinion leaders and consumers. Many of our client relationships are as old as our business and our greatest source of new business is referrals.

Brian Lambie

Brian Lambie has extensive communications experience gained during his career as a private sector consultant, a political assistant and a public servant.

He founded Redbrick Communications in 2002 with a mission to empower people and organizations to tell their own story, no matter how great the challenge. Since 2003, Brian has served as the media contact for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and he is a sought after media trainer and conference speaker.

Formerly Vice President of Howe & Company Corporate Communications and an Account Group Director with GPC International in Toronto, his specialties include corporate and public sector communications, issue and crisis management, and stakeholder and media relations.

Brian earned his M.A. in Journalism at the University of Western Ontario.

Farah Tayabali
Vice President

Farah Tayabali is an experienced public relations professional and former journalist. She has provided communications counsel to a variety of organizations, ranging from consumer products and healthcare companies to government agencies and provincial ministries.

She formerly served as Director of Public Relations for a North-American wide vision services company and Account Group Director with GPC International in Toronto. Farah specializes in media relations, issues management, internal communications and writing. An experienced trainer, she has taught strategic communications planning and writing at Humber College.

Farah's ability to turn complex information into compelling prose was honed as a reporter at The Hamilton Spectator and The Buffalo News. As a journalist, she reported on a wide range of subjects, including municipal government, health care and education.

Farah received an M.A. in Journalism with a fellowship from the University of Maryland, College Park.


Andrea Montgomery, APR
Vice President

Andrea joined Redbrick in September 2016. She is a CPRS-accredited, strategic senior communications professional, with 16 years’ experience with both regional and provincial governments with a focus on trusted client relations, change management and issues/crisis management including public consultation.

As a Communications Advisor at Halton Region, Andrea oversaw strategic communications consultation, planning and implementation. She led multiple public engagement initiatives, and led issues and change management projects across several Regional departments. She managed and mentored staff, and was instrumental in mitigating issues related to water fluoridation, flooding prevention, waste management and more.

During her time with the Government of Ontario, she played a key strategic role in an award-winning major change management initiative involving 60,000 provincial employees using a new information system.

Andrea is a skilled public speaker, trainer and writer. She earned an honours B.A. in French and Music from the University of Waterloo.

Jacqueline Demers
Senior Consultant

Jacqueline joined Redbrick in May 2011. Her responsibilities include everything from planning and analysis to writing and strategy execution. Jacqueline is a strong writer and strategic thinker with a penchant for social media.

Currently, Jacqueline provides strategic communications support to a number of public sector clients including AMO’s administration of Canada’s Gas Tax Fund in Ontario and the Municipal Employer Pension Centre of Ontario.

Jacqueline is a graduate of the corporate communications and public relations postgraduate program at Centennial College and completed an internship in the issues management and information services division of the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services. She holds an honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto.


Teri Clark

Teri joined Redbrick in May 2016. She provides social and digital media support, graphic design work and writing to the Redbrick team.

With a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Queen's University, Teri brings with her an understanding of the social, political, and economic landscape of Ontario. Teri later complemented her degree with a postgraduate certificate in corporate communications and public relations from Centennial College.

Teri completed a communications internship at Engineers Without Borders Canada, and has volunteered with various not-for-profits such as Peterborough GreenUP and the David Suzuki Foundation.
