Redbrick is well known in Ontario’s municipal community. Our client portfolio includes prominent companies, law firms, governments, associations, universities and not-for-profit agencies.

Position Summary
Redbrick is searching for a candidate who can inspire the confidence of clients and earn their trust. Our Account Director supports all aspects of the business by providing high-quality client services and promoting the firm’s growth. This includes working directly with our clients who are senior managers, executives and professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver value for our clients by leading key files, including the development and implementation of strategic communications plans, including social and digital components.
- Provide hands-on media relations support to clients.
- Research and write materials for stakeholder audiences, including presentations and speeches.
- Develop and deliver issues management strategies and provide crisis communications support.
- Lead complex, multi-faceted communications projects independently.
- Work effectively with a variety of clients representing a broad range of fields.
- Work effectively within teams of senior managers and professionals, including communicators, elected officials, business leaders, and legal, financial or administrative officers.
- Support growing agency through strategic input to achieve greater internal efficiency and potential business expansion.
Must have
- Integrity and good judgment.
- At least 10 to 12 years of experience in a public relations consulting environment.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Exemplary writing skills.
- Remarkable ability to communicate complex information in plain language.
- Excellent organizational skills (planning and implementation).
- Strong people and relationship building skills.
- Ability to deliver issues management support and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to solve problems and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently.
- Post-secondary degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver’s license.
Good to have
- Experience in media.
- Experience working within the public sector.
- Ability to use Adobe design products.
